Keystone Spark Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit delivering community-hosted learning and caregiver experiences today while building the partnerships, resources, and infrastructure needed for future youth and workforce pathways.
Keystone Spark Academy equips children, youth, caregivers, and families, especially those navigating neurodiversity and other barriers, through inclusive learning experiences, practical family resources, and restorative support while developing future workforce and entrepreneurship pathways.
Through community-centered programs and mission-driven innovation, we build skills, strengthen families, and expand access to brighter, more economically resilient futures.
We envision communities where every person, regardless of learning style, ability, background, or circumstance, has access to the support, skills, relationships, and opportunities needed to thrive.
We did not find what our family needed. So we began building it.
Ours is a loud, loving, wonderfully active household, full of big feelings, bigger personalities, and daily lessons in grace, growth, and grit.
We are Andrea and Marc Cesar, the co-founders of Keystone Spark Academy. Like many of the families we serve, our journey into advocacy and inclusive education began at home.
As parents raising neurodiverse children with different strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world, we have lived the advocacy, adaptation, uncertainty, and resilience that families are often expected to carry. We also know the difference it makes when a child is genuinely understood and when a caregiver no longer feels alone.
When our family moved from Brooklyn to the Charlotte area during the pandemic, many of the systems and relationships we once relied upon were suddenly gone. We found ourselves rebuilding community while navigating unfamiliar educational and support systems. We could not find the connected, affirming environment we believed our children and family needed.
So we began creating it.
Keystone Spark Academy was not born from a business plan alone. It grew from lived experience, fierce love, faith, and the conviction that children and families should not have to force themselves into systems that were never designed with them in mind.

Andrea brings experience in corporate banking, business operations, project management, media communications, brand strategy, and community engagement. She leads KSA’s vision, mission stewardship, program alignment, innovation, partnerships, brand architecture, and long-term growth.
Co-Founder & Chief Development and Communications Officer
Marc brings a people-first approach to business development, communications, strategic outreach, partnerships, and relationship building. He helps turn vision into connection and execution by building trust, opening doors, and creating sustainable pathways for the mission to grow.
We are not parents with every answer. We are real people doing our best, learning as we build, and creating the kind of community we once needed ourselves.
That is why Keystone Spark Academy is more than an organization to us. It is a community, a commitment, and a spark.

We intend to create a physical Keystone Spark Academy school where children and families experience the education, support, dignity, and belonging they deserve.
The vision reaches beyond accessible architecture. It is a learning environment designed from the beginning for different minds, bodies, communication styles, strengths, and support needs. Flexible classrooms, sensory-aware spaces, hands-on studios, caregiver resources, restorative areas, workforce learning, and strong community partnership would exist as one connected experience.
We do not have this facility today. Every hosted program, sponsor, volunteer, donor, facility conversation, and community relationship helps us learn and build toward it responsibly.

Today, Keystone Spark Academy brings education, family empowerment, communication resources, and restorative experiences into community-hosted spaces. Spark Plugged provides businesses with mission-powered visibility solutions while generating recurring support for KSA. Its future role as an applied-learning environment is part of the developing Youth Pathways vision. The workforce pathway and future KSA school require curriculum, safeguards, resources, volunteers, and committed partners before they can become active programs.
