Your information should be treated with care.
This notice explains what information Keystone Spark Academy collects through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information you choose to share
We collect information you submit through contact, program-interest, resource-access, hosting, volunteer, partnership, giving, event-registration, sponsorship, and newsletter forms. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, organization, interests, requested resource, event details, accessibility considerations, and message.
How we use information
We use submitted information to provide requested resources, respond to inquiries, understand resource interest, coordinate programs and events, manage volunteer or partnership interest, provide updates when separately authorized, maintain organizational records, and improve how we serve the community. We do not sell personal information.
Resource access and saved items
After a successful form or resource-access submission, this website may store an anonymous timestamp in your browser for up to 60 days so you are not repeatedly asked for your name and email when downloading free resources. Resource favorites and download history may also be stored on that device. These browser records do not contain your submitted name or email, do not create an account, and do not sync across devices. Clearing browser data removes them.
Mya AI website guide
Mya is an AI-powered website guide grounded in information published across this website. When you ask Mya a question, the question and up to three recent exchanges from the open chat are securely sent through Netlify to OpenAI to generate an answer. The current Mya conversation is stored temporarily in the browser’s session storage so it can continue as the visitor moves between pages. It is not associated with a visitor account and is removed when that browser session ends or its site data is cleared. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default; abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days under its policies. See OpenAI’s API data controls. Mya offers website guidance, not professional, medical, educational, financial, tax, or legal advice. Please do not enter private or sensitive information.
Service providers and external sites
Netlify processes website form submissions. Authorized workflows may copy submissions to Google Sheets associated with contact@keystonesparkacademy.com and send notification emails. Newsletter information may be transferred to an email service configured by Keystone Spark Academy. Donation links may open an external giving provider, currently Zeffy, whose own privacy practices apply.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to legal and operational recordkeeping needs. Newsletter enrollment is optional and separate from requesting a resource. Subscribers may unsubscribe using the link included in an email or by contacting us.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults, caregivers, partners, and community members. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information directly through the website. A parent or caregiver should submit program-interest, resource-access, and registration information for a child.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above, required records, or legal obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reputable service providers and limit access to people who need the information for mission-related work.
